Welcome to the Hmong Center Sports Academy Basketball Program
Get ready for an exciting season on the court! The Hmong Center Sports Academy Basketball Program is designed for youth who want to learn, grow, and compete - no matter their starting level. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, this is the place to be.
Registration is Now Open!
We are now welcoming boys and girls in grades 3rd - 12th to join our basketball program.
Our sessions begin on September 22nd at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Green Bay (east branch), running from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM, every Tuesday and Thursday through the middle of October.
A Boys and Girls Club membership must be completed for each player. Download the membership application, complete and sign the form, then turn it in at the Boys and Girls club.
What we focus on
Our basketball program is built around strong fundamentals - the foundation of every great player:

Dribbling – Ball control, handling under pressure, and confidence with both hands

Shooting – Proper form, consistency, and scoring techniques from all areas of the court

Passing – Accuracy, timing, and making the right play for the team

Rebounding – Positioning, effort, and controlling the boards on both offense and defense

Defense – Footwork, positioning, communication, and developing a strong defensive mindset

Game Flow & IQ – Understanding spacing, movement, decision-making, and how to play within a team system
