About the event
Join the Hmong Center of Green Bay (HCBG) and ADRC for an informative and engaging Diabetes Education session designed for the Hmong community of all ages. This event will provide a welcoming space to learn about diabetes, including its causes, risks, prevention, and effective management strategies.
Facilitated by Mary Lou Yang, Jenny Xiong, and ADRC representatives, the session will focus on culturally relevant education, practical lifestyle tips, and ways individuals and families can support one another in living healthier lives. Whether you are managing diabetes yourself, caring for a loved one, or simply looking to learn more, this session will offer valuable insights and resources.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with community members and sign up for a 6-week support group focused on ongoing education, encouragement, and accountability in diabetes management.
